Wooooow (*〇□〇)……!

I just watched the animation of Line Webtoon Series Noblesse and it left me on the edge of my seat. I didn't know what it was about, I haven't read the series but this first episode was great! There's action, lot's of blood and gorgeous characters. Considering the biting and the amount of blood and body parts flying around (and let's not forget the coffin!) I think it's safe to say vampires are involved. I'm definitely going to look up the series now.

It's interesting to note that while the original manhwa is set in Korea, the anime is in Japanese which may bug some people considering it's not in the original language. One other thing some may not like is that a few of the character names were changed from Korean to Japanese and I have to admit it's a bit awkward to hear one name being spoken while at the same time a different name is displayed in the subtitles.

Having said that I do think the cast is great and they did a wonderful job with the animation with Production I.G behind the project.

Here's the list of seiyuu involved:

Rai (Cadis Etrama di Raizel): Tarusuke Shingaki
Frankenstein: Daisuke Hirakawa
Yusuke Tashiro/Han Shinwoo: Tasuku Hatanaka
Manabu Kase/Woo Ik-Han: Takuma Nagatsuka
Emi Iwata/Seo Yuna: Madoka Yonezawa
M-21: Hisafumi Oda
M-24: Teruyuki Tanzawa
Jake: Toru Ohkawa
Marie: Hitomi Nabatame
M-18: Kent Ito
Man A (The Infected One): Yuichi Karasuma

For those who have not watched yet go watch it now!Collapse )

It's been almost another year since my last post. I don't get how this keeps happening. I wanted to make a post at least every few months to keep this place looking just the slightest bit alive but I can't even seem to manage that.

I think I just spend too much time reading and watching anime and it doesn't leave me much time to do anything else. It's just so easy to read one more fic or to watch another episode of whatever anime I'm in to at the moment. I always have a long to-watch and to-read list so I'm not short on either. Not to mention for the last few months I have fallen head first in another fandom (as if I didn't have plenty already) and it's got me so caught up I haven't even read any proper ereri fic for weeks!

And just now I was reading a Daiya no Ace MiyukixSawamura Doujinshi and that made me want to go start reading the manga again. Last time I got stuck at around chapter 160 and I definitely want to read the rest but when am I supposed to do that?? щ(゜ロ゜щ)

Uhh.... what?

I just finished watching the last episode of Shirogane no Ishi: Argevollen and I have no clue what happened. I don't get it. So Samonji just magically shut the U-link/Silver Will/whatever-the-hell-they-call-it system down and that's it? The End? I'm not even sure I understand completely what he was trying to do. And how was he able to control so many units straight away anyway? Tokimune took ages before he was able to properly control Argevollen. Sure they got data whenever Tokimune was piloting Arge which would have been used for Perfevollen but still... just like that?

I also finished Donten ni Warau earlier today which was much better. I couldn't really bring myself to watch it earlier because I knew about Shirasu which kinda bummed me out. Still does actually. In the end I did enjoy it so I would recommend it. And the characters were pretty, that's always a plus! XD

Things are looking up, finally

For the first time in days I actually got my sh*t together and finally completed a large part of my to-do list. Having a properly working internet connection helps (no thanks to my provider there). Things have been pretty blank lately and being able to complete stuff is really a relief.

So yeah, I feel pretty good right now. Now I only need to get my hands on that cute Yukine keychain I've had my eyes on for weeks and my day is complete. I'm in need of something cute right now. *nods*

Relaxing works best with manga and anime

I've been busy the last few weeks and I noticed that reading manga, any kind of manga, is actually really relaxing for me as well as watching anime. Where I live people often say that manga and anime (or comics and cartoons as they are called) are for kids but I can't really agree with that. And if people saw the kind of manga I have stored on my drive they would probably agree wholeheartedly. The amount of Boys Love alone would probably give some people a very big shock. XD

Manga and anime have been part of my life for a very long time and I'm surprised myself that until today I can really enjoy it still. Just look at my ridiculous post before this, if that's not fangirling then I I don't know what is. Being able to get exited about something that's been my hobby for so long is fun and keeps things interesting. Even now when I go to the bookstore I keep buying new manga and I really don't care that I'm standing next to a 10 year old and that the cashier probably knows me by face now because I always leave with a pile of manga.

All my manga is either shoujo/shounen/josei/seinen but no BL because that's not sold here and I don't dare import any. But despite the lack of BL I'm confident that I have collected several hundred volumes over the years, if not more. It would be interesting to know how many manga I have in my collection now. Maybe I should restart that list I was working on a few years ago.

I just finished watching the final episode of Free! and it was so much better than I thought it would be. Usually when I get to the last episode it's either confusing, disappointing or leaves me with just an okay feeling but Free! made me totally happy and excited. I loved the ending and hopefully there will be another season. The closing tag of the last frame was " see you next summer.. ." so I'm going to take it to mean: stay tuned everyone, we'll be back next summer with another season of pretty guys who swim. I just hope they don't mean "next summer" literally 'cause I'm not sure if I can wait that long.

And of course I have to mention all those epic RinxHaru moments. They made me go "Kyaaaaa!!!" and "Waaaaaiii!!!" and "Moooore!!!" several times. Deep, I know.

I mean, just look at this:

And this one of course. HUG!
